The Compatto freestanding wall bed sofa does not require a wall mount. The sofa, including the seat and cushions, compresses below for a fast transition from sofa to bed. The Compatto, no mounting needed, freestanding Murphy Bed with Couch combination transitions from day to night with simplicity. The sofa cushions all stay on and the sofa compacts down underneath the wall bed when you lower it. The metal frame gives this system a strong support and is built into the sofa so the system cannot tip forward, resulting in no need to wall mount this unit. A wall bed sofa system that is perfect for rental homes or heritage status homes that often do not allow a wall mounted option. The bed frame uses wooden slats for support and airflow to your mattress. It fits a queen USA sized 7 inch thick mattress or select a factory provided mattress. You can choose the color of the metal work in white, grey or dark grey. You can also select the panel color from a wide variety of choices as well as your own fabric selection. Additionally you get to choose trim arms or thicker arms for the sofa. We will then custom make this Freestanding Murphy Bed Sofa combination and deliver it to you in the USA or Canada in 20 weeks from when you place it.

Mattress Size:
Fits a 7 inch or under USA size mattress of 60 x 80.
(Originally designed for Italian size of 63 x 78 inches x 7 inches )
Mattress options: Use your own under 7 inches in height, queen USA sized. Or select a factory provided mattress in foam or Memory Foam.
Alternatively we have the USA Specific sized MurphySofa line.
Foam mattress from Italy: Medium-firm comfort level. Made in Italy, in-house brand.
Memory Foam from Italy: Medium-firm two-layer memory foam mattress with the first layer being high density memory foam to adapt to your body without compression points, the second layer offers further support below.
Both mattresses are Hypoallergenic, Anti-bacterial, Breathable, Eco-Friendly and the memory foam mattress also has a removable lining.
Either mattress can be made firm by request.

Arm size: Thin arms are 3.54 inch thick. Thick arms are 5.54 inches
Flounce: Optional (the sofa fabric front cover below the seat)
Metal Structure Frame: Choice of painted Flat colors: White, Silver, Dark Grey. A metal structure frames the panels for strength.
Face and panel options: A variety of wood panels, or flat white finish.
