The Mini Scatola Bench Seat was designed to be used on a regular basis. Built with a wooden structure and sliding metal mechanism, the seat is padded with a layer of cushioning in a soft easy to clean PU leather fabric. Compact, smart, efficient …and attractive! Build the bench to size by optionally adding in 1 to 5 extensions. This extendable bench seats up to 5 people comfortably. Two benches can fit under our console-to-dinner tables. Store them compacted next to your sofa as a side table, or as a seat in your entry way. Pairs perfectly with the Junior Giant Table. Seats 5.

The Mini Scatola is a bench in a box that transforms and expands to accommodate 5 seats at your preferred table setting. Extremely compact and ingenious as two bench boxes can fit under our console dinner tables such as the Junior Giant, Titan or Expanda table. Use on its own or pair with your own table. Easy to unfold, pack up and stow away with minimal impact to space, in any type of room configuration. Comfortable padding on the seat for dining purposes or hosting an impromptu cooking class or book club gathering. They adapt nicely as side tables – simply place a tray on top of the padded seats (if you want to balance drinking glasses!). The Mini Scatola is a wonderful single entry way chair and/or a versatile 5 seater bench. Build this to size by adding in as few as one seat extensions, or as many as 5.

Great product, terrific staff, and an awesome combination of the Mini Scatola benches with the Jr. Giant Revolution table. I have a small living space which made the choice to use Expand Furniture easy. The table and benches fit perfect in my alcove when collapsed, how I use it most, and expand easily to accomodate 10 comfortably, 12 cozily, and I'm sure I could get 4 more in if needed. Benches open and close easily and are sturdy. I don't feel like they are going to bend or warp after repeated use like other adjustable furniture I've seen. TIP: there is one bench seat that must be used every time regardless of the number of seat you use. I recommend always putting this seat away last and in the middle. You will know where it is and it is easiest to remove.

Love the product functionality and quality. The bench is very sturdy and easy to setup.
The bench is great for magic expandable seating. There is a bit of a learning curve with placing the cushions down and securing them (no instructions that detailed this in the box. Didn’t occur to us to look for videos, but would have appreciated written instructions vs the pictures that don’t have any explanation). We did have a hard time rolling it around. It seems the wheels underneath aren’t oriented to allow easy movement in all directions. For the price, it’s quite expensive to have seating that isn’t easy to maneuver in our home. But with the two of us, we make do. We put a blanket over the cushions to protect them from dust and clawing pets. Our home doesn’t leave room for storage, so having an expandable seating area for guests that’s goes in a corner is of the utmost importance.
We are empty nesters who have family dinners every Sunday with kids and grandkids. Realizing I needed more seating, I came across the Mini-Scatola. It has been a PERFECT solution - young grandkids love it, fighting to sit on it, and we can adjust the size, depending on who is able to come that week. Super easy to set up and easy to clean.
